Kyle Stewart is a Canadian visual artist. Graduating from the Ontario College of Art and Design University, he now teaches as a sessional instructor in the Illustration department. Kyle’s work references the collective nostalgia of pop culture with a counter-culture approach. Influences include vintage t-shirts and utilitarian hand painted signs. Kyle blends a mix of low and high brow with an end result that feels like waking up from a nap, in the early evening, disoriented and sweaty. Not quite grasping what is real and what was imagined.
